You can sign up for the 2009 triathlon.  And if you don’t like how Mirriam-Webster defines the term, then take your own crack at it. Or get out your screen cleaner and watch the Hot for Words babe explain it.

It was only my sixth post to the front page, so I don’t feel too badly. I’d had a question deleted once, but that was fair. I’m not arguing the deletion of this post was unfair either, but I’m still going to beat up cortex next time I’m in Oregon.

Seems that lately all I’ve had a chance to do is remove spam from my sites. Actually writing in them seems out of the question.

I went to the doctor yesterday. Been having a little tickle in my throat. Bad enough at times to wake me up. Not really pain, but almost like an itch (and it really hard to scratch the inside of your throat). I had other issues going on as well that have been persistent for a few weeks, so decided to make the appointment. Then of course everything was fine on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, so I thought of canceling, but decided to go for peace of mind. Everything checked out fine. All is well with the world. Well, my health part of it anyway.

Tonight I am taking a wood working class. I plan to make some shadow boxes. I’ll be sure to post progress as I make it.

I think it’s funny that youtube has me down as joining “2 years ago.” I think I did that so I could watch “mature” content, which on youtube consists of people getting smacked in the testicles.

Anyway…

Again, not really worth watching. I’ll have a better one soon. I started the upload on this one last night, it was still uploading when I went to bed. My haircut video has 268 views (which amuses me). It’s getting about 20 a day. People really need to find purpose in life.

I won’t say I’ve run out of steam on my jackassletters site, or that I’ve given up posting here on a regular basis, or that I’ve grown bored with designing sites, or even that I’ve given up on various ideas. I will say my level of enthusiasm is waning. I have my hands in too many projects to do any of them well. I’m the worst at this, but people often have no idea what goes into creating a site or maintaining one.

Every time I set up a site I feel like I am learning everything over again. Actually, I learn new things that make things better/easier, but then I want to apply this across the sites I already control, and I control too many. What starts out as something fun and easy, ends up being a major project. This is why I am putting my jackassletters site in hiatus.

I also maybe made a mistake by joining twitter and facebook, since the last thing I really need is more places I don’t update.

I have been playing with video recently, but mostly just being stupid.

Sometimes I think about deleting all my sites, letting the URLs go away, and reclaiming the time for other things. You know, like watching TV or reading.
