I’ve never really enjoyed his comedy. It was too crude for my tastes. Seriously. I know, it’s hard to believe a man like myself can get offended, but he managed it all too often, and for that I do have a debt of gratitude. And he influenced pretty much everyone I do enjoy, and without him fighting the good fight, a lot of what I take for granted would not even be possible.
