I’m not positive I know why they were doing this. I guess it was a tree lighting ceremony. Could have been Pearl Harbor day. Could just be close enough to the winter solstice that someone thought it would be fun. I was sitting in my living room when they started. I ran out and filmed what I could. No coat. It was cold.

[Update:] It was from the annual lighting of the tree. Nothing says baby Jesus like fireworks!
